Philosophy: As a designer I strive to create unique spatial and sensorial experiences that encourage people to engage with them in a way that makes them focus on the themes they represent: conviviality, balance, vibrancy, dynamicity and sustainability. I want to stage spectacles, to provoke thought through the extraordinary. I believe in the infinite power of emotional, sensorial and immersive spatial design. The exploration and reinterpretation of some of the fundamental aspects and spaces of everyday are my main focuses. In the future I aim to further investigate ways to explore how the visual/material qualities of something can affect someones perception of that thing or theme.
I want to create things that are surprising, provocative and unfamiliar...vibrant things that are metaphorically rich.
My projects present the idea of allowing events to change you. I think it is incredibly important to immerse yourself in different spaces, to observe activity and learn from different atmospheres and cultures.
The unfamiliar aesthetic and form of my designed experiences are devices which instantly create intrigue, suggest interactivity through either tactility or visual tactics, and trigger emotional responses.
